Our Story

Founder of Design to Thrive, Jodie Tellam, is a Community Regeneration Consultant and Educator based in Cornwall, with extensive experience in social justice, humanitarian aid, youth empowerment, and community development. She has worked internationally with humanitarian organisations and refugee communities, and locally on projects tackling child poverty, community resilience, and ecological regeneration.
Raised in Cornwall, Jodie values the deep connection between land, ocean, and community, a relationship that underpins her approach to regenerative design and education. Through Design to Thrive, she helps communities and organisations create projects that empower people, strengthen local networks, and restore ecosystems—combining practical training, consultancy, and hands-on collaboration.
Her work is rooted in the belief that thriving communities grow from the ground up: by nurturing people, sharing knowledge, and regenerating the places we call home.
